"Save the via for last" – and they were right, the archery colleagues who recommended it to us. A very nice course!
It was described to us as steep and difficult. Well, it was indeed steep... but difficult? Thanks to a truly consistent and well-planned route (including perfect signage), this course doesn't really feel "difficult."
The shots are very finely tuned. Small alternates with large, long with tricky. This ensures that there's no boredom on this course – especially not due to unnecessary stretches. There's no need to search for paths and targets here – they're simply where they belong.
Living alongside the cattle "in" the course isn't a problem at all. You let the steak animals graze in peace, and they let you shoot in peace—it's that simple.
Two refreshment stops await the shooter. They're well integrated into the landscape and the trails. Okay, the first one was already eagerly awaiting us. ;)
By the way, there are enough bottles for entire school classes… or a whole bus full of us.
For us, it was a truly wonderful morning with an incredible panorama. The Wilder Kaiser Mountains simply have something special. ;)
