We visited the archery course Schachten , near Landshut, located in the immediate vicinity of fields and fish ponds.
During our team week in Haag an der Amper, we as the discoverize team experienced a relaxed and fun afternoon: Together we went archery on the Schachten archery course – and to give you a preview: It was a bullseye.
Introduction to intuitive archery
We received a warm welcome upon arrival. Owner Christian took plenty of time to give us a clear and engaging introduction to the basics of intuitive archery . This was especially valuable for those of us who had only held a bow once or twice before.
After the introduction, they went straight to the field, bow and arrow in hand, the lessons learned fresh in their minds. And lo and behold: the first hits weren't long in coming.
Archery and a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of nature
The facility itself is beautifully situated and very well maintained. Between the individual activities, there was always time for relaxed socializing – including short drink breaks on the terrace or in the cozy shooting lodge, which further enhanced the afternoon. The atmosphere was consistently warm, relaxed, and just right for a team event.
Far from the noise of everyday life – here you will find a beautiful place to spend time outdoors together as a team.
Driven by a passion for archery: Owner Christian Peissinger
The passion for archery is palpable throughout the entire grounds. Christian has been intensively involved with intuitive archery for many years, has been active as a coach himself, and built the course together with his team. This experience is also evident in the on-site support.
Its course is situated in a peaceful and beautiful setting, nestled among meadows, woodlands, and fields. The expansive grounds offer archers both an open meadow loop with training stations and a varied woodland loop with numerous 3D targets .
By the way: Normally, food prepared by Christian's wife is also offered on site for such team events – we skipped that this time, but it definitely sounds like a good reason for another visit.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon filled with fun, new experiences, and a great sense of camaraderie. The Schachten archery course is highly recommended for teams, groups, or anyone who wants to try archery in a relaxed and professionally supervised environment.
