It's been almost 6 months again. It always works out to visit Breitenstein once or twice a year. This was the case today, on our archery info Christmas tour.
3 3D courses in one place saves you from having to drive around from place to place - that's our plan.
"There" early - no, we weren't the first, though, and we started right away with the "yellow" target. 28 targets, carefully placed, and the course wasn't too "hiking day." Quickly "through" and straight to the "red" (36). It did take a bit longer. ;)
Then the "short/blue" route. 20 destinations in the Kirchschlager Hochmoor – wonderful, albeit a bit wet today. A high moor, after all!
So... all three laps were completed, and it was only 12:40 p.m. Too early to go back to the hotel. An afternoon of reading would be too risky—after all, no one falls asleep during that time. :)))
So... back to the 28s. That would break our own record for daily targets. Today we raised it to 224 target shots. :O
We noticed one thing last time – and today we verified it. The greeting thing doesn't work for all visitors here (about 25% completely ignored us today, despite greeting us). Not even the fine, English longbow manner. Perhaps a "Servus first" or a "Red-Grüß Gott-Rot" course would be appropriate.
