It's the last course on our list in Tyrol. This "list," by the way, was compiled from your recommendations and our curiosity.
"Alte Mittel" – often read – but couldn't imagine what it meant. Today we're a little wiser. "Alte Mittel" is a restaurant, up on the Nachtsöllberg… well, not quite up there, but directly below the gondola. Popular, we're told, both summer and winter. The well-attended 3D course is part of the package. And rightly so.
Here, too, there's quite a bit of elevation gain to overcome. The course is so well-designed that boredom never sets in. Excellently marked – the targets are perfectly placed, and the trails (despite their truly adventurous layout) are no problem at all. There's a refreshment station in the right place… which means not too early! ;)
The shots themselves are sometimes really challenging - which is why our results are surprising: Not even that bad.
It was a good decision to say goodbye to Tyrol with this course. Not least because of the friendly chat with the boss (?). Thank you for this worthy conclusion here in Tyrol.
