One of the last tournaments of 2022: The Advent Shooting in Kreuzstetten in the Weinviertel (Lower Austria).
It's a fun course there, which is why we always enjoy going back. "Course" doesn't just refer to the 3D course, but especially to the Kreuzstettner archers. Always fun with the friends. ;)
Starting at 8 a.m., we'll be served cake, bacon sandwiches, and coffee, and we'll have a flying start... depending on who's arriving. It's a good solution, and things get going relatively quickly. Petra, Thomas, and myself will take on the course together... and have fun—that's how it should be.
The course, pegs a little shorter today, is in good condition. It's a relatively small course. But!!! The terrain is used very carefully. Thirty fine shots and nice distances – they know the craft here. Speaking of craft, a small but very nice Christmas market is taking place in the club rooms at the same time.
The lady of the house is out and about with her new Black Widow (One Piece recurve). It's been apparent over the last few days that she's making quite a leap forward. Today, she wins the tournament without a hitch. A very good score, especially considering that there are barebow archers behind her. Bettina, also from BSV Krumau, takes third place. Two of "our" ladies are on the podium—that's how it should be. ;)
Uhhh... I almost forgot. Pumpkin cream soup and blood sausage roast from the giant pan were sensational - thank you!!!
