It's been quite some time. It rained during my last visit – this time it snowed lightly. Both are part of outdoor archery.
The course, centered around a truly exceptional refreshment station, stretches for approximately 2 kilometers. "Only 2 kilometers?" some might say... but be careful. There's a bit of a "climbing" element to it. If you don't adjust your pace, you might find yourself panting a bit. ;)
Very fine shots, now 32 in number, accompany the shooters on their way.
Once you've passed the refreshment station, about halfway through, and continue up the next hill, you'll reach the "audience area." The audience consists of several alpacas, who watch the shooters with wide eyes.
I'm not sure, but I think there was also some quiet laughter coming from the enclosure when I missed. As I said, I'm not sure.
Conclusion
A truly fantastic course! We'll be back next year – for the double-star tournament, together with Luftenberg.
