When BSV Rußbachtal calls for a tournament, they come: archers from neighboring clubs and others as well.
It's also a beautiful forest—the damage caused by the beetle has been repaired, and large areas have been reforested. Mainly around the perimeter, not in the middle of the course.
7:30 a.m. – a bit early, but everyone meets up cheerfully at registration and is whisked (quite quickly) onto a shuttle bus to the course. There are limited parking spaces there, as visitors know.
9:45 a.m. - it's starting. Our group starts at the third target – a short walk and finally back near the firing range – great.
In the tried-and-true fashion (shooting in a group with Claudia & Martin D. is a bit of a tradition), we're doing the round... well, everyone else except me. I, the idiot, really messed up my bow yesterday—but whatever, it's still fun.
12:45 p.m. - we're back and are immediately taken back to the car by shuttle bus.
1:15 p.m. - Meeting point: Asperlkeller. There, you'll not only find truly excellent food (recommendation: Blunzn Gröstl), but also the awards ceremony afterward.
Speaking of the award ceremony... Martin achieved a truly impressive result, securing a podium finish in his class, and Petra also did quite well.
Congratulations to both of you on the GOLDEN WIN!!!
See you next year, Manfred
