It was a fantastic event. We were able to shoot competitive rounds on fantastic courses all year long (I'd like to thank all the course operators and their teams), and yesterday the final took place in Ansfelden.
Bernhard Haba and his team have done a fantastic job here and put on a fantastic event. The tournament format is top-notch and always allows for surprises. Thanks also to Helmut Pöll, who, as far as I know, is largely responsible for the tournament format.
Wolfgang Halvax once again provided the musical accompaniment, which is exactly my taste in music.
Of course, I would also like to thank the referees Markus Klampfer and Erich Schöber who supported all the shooters, were always there when needed and made the tournament run smoothly.
Many thanks to Andreas Tarmann who took photos all day and posted them online that night.
Thanks also to our president Herwig Haunschmid for coming; it is always good for us shooters to be able to talk to him and to share our wishes and concerns with him directly.
I'm sure I've forgotten to mention one or two of you, so I apologize for that and just want to say, you were all fantastic. I'm already looking forward to the new year and the 2023 AAC Cup.
