I visited BSG Griasboch and would like to share this experience with you!
The first time I was there, I whizzed right past the entrance. But no big deal... I turned around once, and the wonderful wooden sign immediately caught my eye!
After entering, there was a parking lot and a large meadow with a clubhouse, a restroom, a campfire area, and, of course, the shooting range.
Everything is located right next to the stream, which creates a very idyllic impression and allows everyone to forget the stress of everyday life!
Cross the bridge directly to the first target. After two targets, the path climbs steeply into the forest. The course is very beautiful and designed with great attention to detail. There are many little details to see here and there. Sturdy footwear is recommended, as it is quite steep and there are plenty of cones lying around, which you'll love to roll on!
You also have to cross raised stands and bridges, which may become slippery when it rains!
The animal groups are beautifully designed... a honey badger lurking in front of a beehive... a cobra being lured from its nest by a snake charmer, or a wolf chasing the Road Runner "Meep Meep!" (The Road Runner is just decoration! – Not a target! – It's made of resin! – Ergo... no shooting at it!)
Unfortunately there is no refreshment stop.
The round concludes with the final shots on the meadow next to the parking lot. There are two more targets there. One of them is a very impressive horseshoe deer (with a foam kill zone)!
Conclusion:
A truly beautiful course that invites you to linger, whether on the course or with a drink at the clubhouse! It's a shame, though, that there are no rest stops or refreshment stations!
I will definitely come back to this wonderful recreation area!
