Perfect conditions for one of the truly "hard" climbs. Admittedly, with the current situation, you're somehow climbing one less hill. But the targets are exactly what you'd expect at Hauer Hill. When a deer's ear peeks out from behind a tree in a hollow on the horizon, you're at the "hill."
Well, it's not quite that bad, of course. The results were actually quite decent, more or less. But the most important thing here is the joy of archery. The fun of making special shots. And you can definitely do that here.
It takes me a little over an hour today (alone). The goals are really challenging—just as you'd expect.
Yes, the hill is fun. It'll be changed again in August. Then, when the hill calls to the "beast." You can climb it four times... Yes, in one day.
If the plan holds, we'll be heading up there again soon. With one, or maybe even several, of the operators. It's always a truly wonderful experience. The people who live there are truly nice.
