High up in the Liechtenstein mountains, more precisely in the Malbun ski area, is the only 3D course in the Principality.
Various payment options are offered on-site. First of all… there's a course book and a cash register at the firing range. Simply register and pay there… According to the people up here, all other information is "online junk" and you're sent "in circles." Still, be sure to ask where the entry point is – there are no signs from the tourist parking lots.
The firing range is small, but it serves its purpose. The first shot at a bear... felt like a million meters away. ;)
The paths vary, from official hiking trails to scree slopes and marshy alpine meadows.
Because of the signage, we also encountered weekend shooters with children from Switzerland. They also couldn't understand or find the signs.
Conclusion
For us, scenically, it's one of the most beautiful 3D courses we've ever done. The rest... could be improved.
