The second stop on our 2022 archery information summer tour. First of all… the parking lot by the church is the only one where you're allowed to park for more than 120 minutes. That means it's about a 15-minute hike to the small shooting range—which is fine.
Arriving in the forest, it's wonderfully cool—it's another one of those 30°C days. There's a map of the course at the firing range. Taking it with you and reading it makes things a little easier.
Three short courses with a total of 32 targets are combined into one. Up and down, we're in Vorarlberg after all. The shots and paths are in top condition. In total, we meet four hard-working "locals" who are taking great care of the course. They're hauling critters, sawing down trees, and forcing the stream back into its halfway bed—at least where you have to "cross over." And, of course, chatting a bit with the Lower Austrian tourists. ;)
Back to the shots. The course was set up with a lot of love and experience, and you immediately notice the dedication that goes into it.
Conclusion:
If there isn't one, go there and shoot! One more tip: don't stray from the path when you're feeling grumpy in winter, or a whole clan of ground wasps will attack you... ouch.
