Talent Day 2022 - Bogensportinfo
Fritz Ziegler

That was TALENT DAY 2022

More than 250 children and young people with physical or visual disabilities between the ages of 8 and 18 were able to experience Paralympic atmosphere for the first time and try out ten sports at the second edition of the event at the Südstadt Federal Sports and Leisure Centre.

The program included badminton, archery , athletics, cycling, rowing, swimming, sailing, tennis, table tennis and wheelchair basketball.

Participation was open to school classes in the morning, and to individuals in the afternoon, where they could try out the Paralympic sports under the expert guidance of the sports associations.

Christian Linhart, Enikö Bodor and Fritz Ziegler were present for the ÖBSV,

It was no surprise, of course – archery was a hot spot for the children and their accompanying adults. Everyone participated with great enthusiasm, and it was a joy to see the children's enthusiasm.

We were particularly pleased to welcome Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler, ÖPC President Maria Rauch-Kalat, and Secretary General Petra Huber. There was great interest in para archery, and we had a pleasant chat. Mayor Kogler personally thanked us for our commitment to disability sports.

We look forward to participating again at Talent Day 2023.
