We've been members of the BSV Krumau, an archery club in Lower Austria, for over two years. In addition to our target ranges in Thurnberg (simply brilliant – under a dam) and Kirchstetten, there's also a fantastic 3D archery course in the idyllic town of Krumau am Kamp.
Unfortunately, it's far too rare for people to meet up at the course to go for a run together. There are 30 wonderful targets in some challenging terrain (really not too wild ;) ).
A round trip with Bettina & Fritz was planned for this Sunday. It was short notice—we rarely have the time. So it was all the more wonderful that it worked out. We arrived, and lo and behold... several club colleagues had the idea.
Pleasant chatter, a little exchange of experiences, and the latest gossip at check-in.
Then the planned round with the two previously mentioned. Good and bad hits, good stories, and of course, a little "bow chatter" ;).
Just a beautiful Sunday morning.
What really deserves mention is that we have two truly hardworking colleagues in the club who skillfully revive our targets. Karl & Fritz do a truly excellent job – the club is very grateful for that!
