At this memorial tournament, we welcomed a large number of archers who made their way to us despite the foggy conditions. They shot at 30 3D targets in 2-arrow mode—Peter's favorite scoring system.
Since the memory of our friend, who would certainly have enjoyed this tournament, was paramount, We're looking forward to an awards ceremony. Instead, each participant received a wooden participation trophy and a fine bottle of Andau wine, which was provided by Weingut Jacqueline Klein , Weingut Hannes Reeh , Weingut Scheiblhofer , Weingut Schwarz, Weingut Wilhelm Thell , and ZANTHO – a huge thank you.
Instead of a bottle of wine, the children received a bag full of snacks and sweets. A big thank you also goes out to everyone who contributed to the success of today's event. Peter's presence was palpable in the good mood and conviviality, as well as the joy of archery that prevailed today.
We think he participated in this event from the top and would have loved to be there. In Peter's memory, the net proceeds from this event will be used to realize one of his greatest wishes for our club at the Hansagparcours next year: a large stag. This stag will then be named "Peter" and a commemorative plaque will be placed in honor of our friend.
