Stoneface Archery's course is available in both winter and summer versions. Mea culpa... we visited the summer version for the first time today - WOW!
Even on the access road, we noticed the red arrows, which weren't there last winter. The explanation is quite simple: in winter, the course is shortened, but instead, it uses double shots.
Once you arrive, first a coffee... yes, they have that here ;) and then off to the course. Some terrain is simply blessed by nature. It wouldn't really make sense to write much about it - you have to see it for yourself. An incredibly beautiful and diverse forest awaits the shooter.
Several aid stations accompany us along the course and almost make us forget the really hot temperatures today.
The lovingly placed targets (32 in total) are well-spaced and leave nothing to be desired. Not even the sometimes unfortunate distances. ;)
Owner Hannes, his delightful family, and members of the local club were there, and we almost got chatting away again. No problem—it's always great!
