A colleague let me know some time ago that there was something new at my second home base – I finally found the time to take a closer look.
So… hop in the car and spend a half-hour driving to Krumau am Kamp. After the Gföhler Berg, you've truly arrived in the beautiful Waldviertel region. The harsh natural surroundings, and the weather, too, are telling – it's drizzling.
Arriving at the parking lot next to the idyllic stream, you'll find benches, a table, and separate trash cans—bravo! Those in the know know the starting point and can start right there.
The terrain – just the way we love it. There are some new targets, and some of the shots have been changed. You should invest about two hours – the trails are magnificent, a break at registration, and a leisurely arrow draw on the steep slope.
Conclusion
You should do it more often and just take your time. And... does a shot actually count if it first goes through a tree and then lands in the animal?
