Description Archery course
The 3D archery course by center-point-bogensport stretches east of Normannstein Castle along a ridge between Treffurt and Wendehausen.
Parking is convenient at the "Hand" parking lot above the castle, just a short walk from the practice range.
Currently, 29 stations have been set up across the varied terrain.

Course description:
Der erste Parcoursteil zieht sich durch das mittelalterliche Steinbruchgelände auf der Werra-Seite des Höhenzugs bevor es in den Wald geht. Der zweite Teil geht am Rande eines ehemaligen Kalksteinbruchs durch ein leicht bewachsenes Abraumgelände.
Festes Schuhwerk und angepasste Kleidung wird unbedingt empfohlen!
Die volle Runde beträgt etwa 3,6 km und dauert, je nach persönlichen Ambitionen und Fertigkeiten 2,5 – 4,5 Stunden. Gerade der Bereich des alten mittelalterlichen Steinbruchs auf der Südseite des Parcours bietet tolle Ausblicke ins Tal auf die Stadt Treffurt und das Werratal!
Parcourskarten können jederzeit online auf bogenheld.de erworben werden. In jedem Fall hat die Bezahlung immer vorab zu erfolgen. Beim Kauf online muss vor der Bestellung das konkrete Datum der Begehung in dem dafür vorgesehenen Feld eingetragen werden. Auf dem Parcours müsst Ihr die Bestellbestätigung und den Zahlungsnachweis vorzeigen können. Somit könnt Ihr auch kurzentschlossen vor Ort Eure Parcoursrunde online buchen. In jedem Fall müsst Ihr Euch vor der Nutzung des Parcours in das vor Ort ausliegende Parcoursbuch eintragen!
Desweiteren wird es zukünftig auch möglich sein, Karten direkt in Treffurt an der Tankstelle zu kaufen. Näheres wird zeitnah bekannt gegeben.
Wer unseren Parcours öfter besuchen möchte hat die Möglichkeit eine Jahreskarte zu erwerben. Es gibt eine Kombikarte für beide Parcours in Wanfried und Treffurt bei bogenheld.de. -

The starting point is the "Hand" parking lot above Normannstein Castle in Treffurt. The path from the town to the castle is very well signposted. Signs also guide you along the approximately 120-meter footpath from the parking lot to the shooting range.
