Description Archery course
The 3D archery course by center-point-bogensport stretches east of Normannstein Castle along a ridge between Treffurt and Wendehausen.
Parking is convenient at the "Hand" parking lot above the castle, just a short walk from the practice range.
Currently, 29 stations have been set up across the varied terrain.

Course description:
The first part of the course winds through the medieval quarry area on the Werra side of the ridge before entering the forest. The second part leads along the edge of a former limestone quarry through a lightly vegetated spoil heap.
Sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing are strongly recommended!
The full circuit is approximately 3.6 km and takes 2.5 – 4.5 hours, depending on personal ambitions and skills. The area of the old medieval quarry on the south side of the course offers particularly great views into the valley towards the town of Treffurt and the Werra Valley!
Course maps can be purchased online at any time at bogenheld.de. In any case, payment must always be made in advance. When purchasing online, the specific date of the visit must be entered in the designated field before placing the order. You must be able to show your order confirmation and proof of payment on the course. This means you can also book your course round online at short notice on site. In any case, you must register in the course book located on site before using the course!
Furthermore, it will also be possible in the future to buy tickets directly at the petrol station in Treffurt. Further details will be announced soon.
Those who wish to visit our course more often have the option of purchasing an annual pass. A combination ticket for both courses in Wanfried and Treffurt is available at bogenheld.de. -
