After a detour to the Gigl archery shop in Kirchberg to pick up more nocks (in the west, women need more nocks because there are stones lying around and backstops are rather rare), we head off to the BSV Kirchberg archery course.
The course is relatively easy to find in Bockern. A small but nice shooting range with registration is located at the end of the village.
Then we head straight to the course with 31 targets. We're making rather slow progress – this is already our third course today...
Short distances between targets make things much easier. Plus, the shots are very varied, so we don't get bored. The course has two refreshment stops, perfect for a relaxing break!
At target 21, the parking lot is already in sight... No, the course isn't over yet! The really great shots are still to come... the leaping fish in front of the small waterfall, the long shot at the gorilla, or the long shot across the stream at the caribou. Not to mention the big eagle.
It is a very successful conclusion to this course!!!
