Writing a report about your own home base is always a bit… let's just say “tricky.” Let's be clear… there's a reason why we don't just shoot here, but also support “rookies.” Thomas has created one, actually five, very nice courses here.
Red – Yellow – Green. 20 to 34 targets per round. Many animals are new. Many shots are modified – some are completely new. My "daily training round" (unfortunately, I haven't had time for it for many weeks) is the two "short rounds." 1 red and 1 green.
Many friends and visitors at the firing range. Including their dogs… is an insider. Thomas opens his "tiny house" (some people call it a black hole – you just can't get out) Tuesday through Sunday by appointment. A shop that, despite its compact size, packs a punch. The new rental hut and the entrance to the courses speak for themselves.
But back to the "new" courses. The shots range from consistent to challenging. Just as a good course should be. With a few exceptions. Meerkats in car tires and some cows on the horizon are a bit out of the ordinary... but fun to shoot.
