The course was “right on our way”… so, off to Hohenau.
Bright sunshine, no mosquitoes, and the usual friendly welcome from some club members. A deja vu.
Despite the massive amount of gardening work (several lawnmowers of various shapes and sizes were in use), there was time for a chat and an exchange of experiences.
Then we set off... 17 hectares of meadow and forest, including several ponds, lay before us. Surprisingly, given that we were here just a few weeks ago, some of the targets had been redesigned and the shooting range had been rebuilt.
The spider at the tree stand, several crocodiles at the pond, and so on... that's something else we appreciate here - the course is always in top condition.
The result was good for both of us – you don't want to overdo it – and so we're looking forward to the next time.
