Early morning in the Tyrolean lowlands. The tourists are still asleep, and we're already stringing our bows at the parking lot for the first course. From Waidring, we find the course fairly well-described. There are four courses in a small high valley. Each one is nicely "small" but together they offer 56 targets (4x14 – selectable individually). Should be enough for a morning. ;)
Starting with the Oberweissbach loop, the shooter climbs a few meters from the firing range. 14 3D targets, nicely set up, await the shooter… nicely "down" the trench (didn't we just go up the trench?). The shots also range quite a bit in variety, from relatively easy to "oh my god."
The panoramic tour is next… It starts just below the adjoining inn. Just past the sheep and then back up again. ;)
Not quite as challenging (but still with short distances), this course surprises with slightly more challenging shots – you want to improve.
The facility is very well maintained, the targets are all in good condition, and it's not a "hiking day." So this morning was a "good" one for us.
