At the Austrian IFAA 3D Championships, held from September 24th to 25th, 2022, the country's best IFAA 3D archers were determined.
244 athletes made their way to the Lavanttal to spend a joint archery weekend.
A reliable organizer was found in the organizing club BSC Wolfsberg. Under chairman Walter Moitzi, two brand-new courses were built on the Koralpe, exclusively for this event.
Walter Moitzi ran the event superbly, even though there were a few proverbial "sticks between his feet" in the run-up to the event.
The unanimous opinion of the participants was that the two courses were worthy of an Austrian Championship.
BSC Wolfsberg and its team proved to be very motivated and willing to provide assistance at any time of day and to help the tournament progress.
The referee team, led by chief referee Helmut Pöll, supported by Rudolf Laimer and Benjamin Ajeti, also did a great job over the two days of competition and supported the archers in conducting a fair championship.
The bad habit of some registered shooters not deregistering caused some problems for the scoring team. Please remember to deregister in the future if you are unable to participate in a tournament or will not be participating on the second day.
