From the beginning of October to mid-May, the training took place in cooperation with the Federal Sports Academy Graz at the BSFZ Schielleiten in Styria.
Planning the training courses was often challenging due to the constantly changing regulations related to the coronavirus pandemic. Some participants even had to face the double burden of completing the basic trainer course and the specialist semester simultaneously. Despite the amount of work such a course entails, the participants' motivation to develop was always enormous.
In addition to the many specialist lectures on technical topics by well-known international specialists such as Dubravko Buden and Henning Lüpkemann, a great deal of knowledge was also imparted on the topics of shooting technique, training and training planning, target panic, media-supported training and funding, which was immediately adopted and already tested and implemented in the clubs during ongoing training operations.
Many interesting topics were also worked on in seminar papers and presented as part of the final examination before a committee, where, in addition to the theoretical knowledge, the practical implementation in teaching presentations could also be demonstrated.
