BSC 3D Vorau, with the referee team Piesinger, Jeitler, held the very organized second State Youth Championship WA 3D Youth.
As is customary at this event, in addition to the actual championship and star tournament, there was also a fun competition with numerous prizes. As last time, Manfred hosted this event with great enthusiasm.
Around 50 young shooters took part, with strong support from neighboring states (especially worthy of mention: BSC Wörthersee and BSV Kremstal).
Unfortunately, only a handful of StFVB clubs sent youth athletes to this tournament. With more than 40 designated StFVB 3D clubs, the question arises whether more youth work and/or more interest in competitive archery might be necessary to promote and secure the future of archery in Styria!
The purpose of the StFVB was and is primarily to promote performance-oriented archery, without forgetting the necessary grassroots sport.
