Failure, against others, or against oneself. The emotions associated with it and how it defines one as an archer. And then an arrow misses, and one gets angry. Once you reach that point, performance usually continues to decline. Because we've left the moment, the only thing that allows us to exert influence.

We are all driven by ideas about our future that have been shaped by our past. We strive for all sorts of things, but always based on a certain feeling. It's not the house, the partner, or even the hits we achieve on the obstacle course. It's the feeling we associate with them, and that connects us with them and with everything else. It drives us and defines our humanity. It's through our ideas that we can grow, and growth is life.

But there comes a point where we have to let go of it. Not in the sense of giving up, but rather a letting go in order to trust. A kind of surrender. Because if our goal has long been clearly in our sights, but we cling to our idea again and again like obsessed people, there's simply no room left for the process of getting there. We cling, so to speak, so tightly to the idea of ​​a future that there's no longer any possibility for the now. But only that can finally get us there. Only the now has the potential for change and the power to experience success.

It accompanies us throughout our entire lives. Subtle, yet ever-present. And once you perceive it, you want to grasp it, hold it. And so it dissolves into a memory, a thought, and makes room for something new. It cannot be captured. Yet nothing else gives us the possibilities in our lives.
