Arrow Whispering - Archery – as diverse as the archer himself

To some, what we do may seem simple: An arrow, a target, a shot, and then it all starts again. So what is it that we find in this? What gives us so much more than meets the eye, so that we continually strive to nock the arrow and draw the bow? And is there really one thing that can explain it?

I don't think there's even one specific thing that can be related to one archer or one life, at least not necessarily. The way we approach archery is as diverse as our circumstances. As humans, we're always looking for balance in some form. Be it because we're trying to cope with a stressful day at work or because a little action is good for us. One thing is interesting. A sport like ours can be both and much more. It all depends on what it seems to be to us and what we make of it.

Sometimes it's a reorientation, time for yourself, or perhaps a pleasant get-together with friends or family. Sometimes it's a reflection on the here and now. Or an opportunity to gain visibility and experience personal success. It can give us support or help us let go. The experiences couldn't be more different. Which makes it clear that it's not always just about what you do, but above all how you do it.
