Today we were guests in Vienna at the Bogenclub Union Wien. They shot an Olympic round. It was great to see so many para archers competing.
- Brantl Sophie
- Hill Jennifer
- Ziegler Friedrich
- Heimhofer Peter
- Woldrich Thomas
- Wegerer Martin
- Meier Michael
A very strong and numerous field of archers, which shows that parasports and especially archery are gaining in popularity.
It was Meier Michael's first tournament and he immediately surprised everyone with a solid performance.
Which was not a given on that day.
The weather changed hourly, which didn't make things any easier for the shooters.
At first it rained, later it cleared up and at times the sun was visible.
There was also some rain in the finals.
So a varied day, so to speak.
Besides Michael, two shooters in particular showed off their skills.
Sophie Brantl reached 4th place in the women’s
And Friedrich Ziegler also reached 4th place in the men’s category.
Heimhofer Peter and Woldrich Thomas also deserve special mention.
Both of them competed in the W1 class. One can only take off one's hat to both shooters, as the journey is not so easy for them, yet they still endured the hardship and competed in Vienna.

All archers would like to thank the team from Bogen Club Union Wien for organizing a great tournament.
As shooters, we lacked nothing and so it was a lovely Sunday among friends for everyone.
