Sportsarea Grimming gets a new national archery center

Austria’s largest archery center is currently being built in Niederöblarn in the Schladming-Dachstein region .

The facility is being built by the Sagittarius Archery Centers Association in cooperation with the Grimming Sports Area on a 20-hectare site for all archery sports, featuring a variety of facilities. Not only indoors, but also outdoors, field, and 3D archery will shape the overall image as a central archery center. Roman Till and Daniel Kammerberger have set themselves the task of promoting this sport even more in the future. In cooperation with SPORTUNION Austria, the goal is not only to develop the infrastructure but also to further develop the facilities through events and courses for everyone, from beginners to elite athletes, and for children and seniors.

Courses and training in cooperation with SPORTUNION

Under the direction of federal representative and chairman Roman Till, courses and training programs are offered jointly with SPORTUNION and implemented through the already successfully running youth project. Requests from schools and event organizers are already fully booked and can be easily accommodated with the available coaches.

Targets and places can be booked either through the sports area in coordination with the BSV Liezen, Daniel Kammerberger, or through “Sagittarius Archery Centers”.

In addition to a fitness studio and sauna, the entire sports complex offers more than 30 sports and is the ideal center in the heart of Austria for individual, family, school, club, and competitive sports.

• Indoor up to 25 m
• Outdoor up to 90 m
• Field course 24 targets from August 2022 / 12 targets suitable for parasports
• Small course for children and young people 12 destinations from September 2022
• 3D children and youth course 12 goals / final development 2023 60 goals
