More than 30 years ago, Ron LaClair designed one of the most respected bows of all time when he developed the Shrew Bow. Since then, Ron has continually refined the Shrew Bow design to make it more powerful and precise.
The Shrew Bows have been recreated and copied by many bow makers, but not a single one has been able to realize or replicate Ron's vision of a perfect hunting bow.
When Ron first introduced his Shrew Bows, these unique hunting bows were considered the shortest bows of their time. The unique features of Shrew Bows delight bowhunters and archers around the world.
Ron LaClair has been partnering with Henry Bodnik of Bodnik Bows since 2018! It's a perfect partnership. Ron LaClair, with his ingenious Shrew Bow design, and Bodnik Bows, with their extremely talented master bow makers, now build the most powerful and comfortable Shrew Bows ever.
The design of the Classic Hunter II Shrew Bow was adapted and applied to the 58" and 60" Super Shrew II. This is how the current Shrew Bows series was created.
