Split: Course visit - Robin Hood Land / Planneralm - Bogensportinfo Blog
Is Sherwood Forest in the Alps? Of course not!
It probably looks completely different from the English forest mentioned above. Robin Hood Land on the Planneralm is an alpine 3D course that will surprise you with several things on your first visit.
Even though we're located in a tourist area, the courses are really well laid out. Short and long distances, freestanding and even slightly hidden targets – big praise to Heinz Lackner and his team!
But what really makes this course special is the landscape! The high alpine surroundings (1,600 meters) offer plenty of variety. Sunny mountain trails and shady paths in the barely remaining forest—we're just below the tree line, after all.
A large shooting range and, of course, the excellent cuisine in the Ewis Hut round off the offer perfectly.
It was our first time at the Planneralm, but certainly not our last visit here.
