The Königswiesen course boasts many amenities… First and foremost, the well-maintained shooting range with its stream, bridge, and small but charming clubhouse is a feast for the eyes. Several benches along the course invite you to rest.
The paths and signage are top-notch. You find your way immediately and don't waste time searching for unnecessary signposts. The previous night was obviously a rough one. Apparently, one (or more) nasty thunderstorms had made their way onto the trail. Nevertheless, it was very pleasant to walk on. Nothing "flooded"... at most a little damp. That's just how it is—it's called "nature."
Oh yes, you'd also like to do some archery every now and then. The shots are very varied and actually set up for WA. The terrain is equally beautiful. Up and down, but not too strenuous. All in all, a very nice package – without the "hiking day"!
