We were the first. Rarely at such a well-attended course as here in Yspertal. Okay… the weather wasn't the best. But… whatever.
The day had been planned for a long time and a little snow (hopefully the last one this year) doesn't really bother us.
Registered, warmed up, and zeroed in, it's off to the course. Great, as always – "Little John" and his men and women have done a great job again. Sure, you're blessed with truly amazing terrain. Still, keeping a course clean and interesting all the time isn't something you can take for granted. Quite the opposite – it's a lot of work.
Bears, deer, and their consorts are positioned in a variety of ways. High and low, far and near, up and down. You won't miss a thing. The new (second) refreshment stop is at a point where you can enjoy the entire surroundings.
Conclusion – see you again in spring/summer… when the automatic Bach beverage cooling system is running again and the frost is just a memory.
