The archery arena in Obervoitsberg – the name says it all in two ways!
On the one hand, the shooting range really is like an arena and on the other hand, YES, the course is on the mountain!
Before the course, we were given a guided tour through the mine tunnels, where explosives were once stored. We scared one of the 12 bats that live there. The bat didn't really care – it probably just went back to sleep.
The course's paths are well laid out, but you should still wear sturdy footwear. Even though we did work up a sweat at times, it's a very nicely laid out course with fairly long shots.
