On the day of arrival, you'll naturally meet many dear archery friends from all over the country. At an EU tournament, of course, a few more. A big "hello," and then off to registration.
It's quick... The bow check isn't until the competition itself. So, off to the nearest pizzeria. The ladies there are hopelessly overwhelmed—but they're relatively quick (and GOOD). No staff available at the lake. The same goes for the restaurant next to the course.
We chatted until (not too late) late, recounting one or two anecdotes from the past few months. A pleasant get-together – as always. 
Day 2 (Saturday, April 23, 2022)
The warm-up starts as early as 7:00 a.m., and quite a few people actually show up at that time. The weather is decent, and there's no rain.
9:00 AM Start of the first round. Petra and I both get a really good group. The first run was OK, the second, not so much (at least for me).
Lunch break… OK, we’re still practicing the food part.
Second round in the afternoon. As already mentioned: If you're too weak, the group is too strong. 
Whatever… it’s supposed to be fun and that’s exactly what it is.
Day 3 (Sunday, April 24, 2022)
The Carinthian sky has opened its floodgates – it doesn’t look good at all early in the morning.
But... the weather gods were kind to the archer, and the rain stopped a few minutes before warm-up. As usual, it was a bit crowded, but the course was well prepared, and everyone had a chance to shoot.
On Sunday there was only one round on the program - again we found a great group and had fun.
The best 6 in each class and category then competed in the final in the afternoon.
After dinner (this time it worked much better) we went ) has already left for home. Eighth place simply won't be eligible for the final.
Conclusion
Charly did a great job again. The referees were absolutely fantastic, and we all had a great time. We're already looking forward to the World Cup in SLO and are excited to spend a whole week at a tournament with many of our dear colleagues.
