6th Pirkisee WA Star Tournament
Two days of tournaments in Carinthia. Specifically, at Lake Pirkdorf. 5th & 6th Star Tournament – today is day 2.
Message to the future Manfred: Bring schnapps tickets. Both yesterday and today, I left them at the post about 45 minutes before the start. Today, however, next to the refreshment station... so it worked ;).
Both courses were set up to be truly challenging. Naturally, this didn't exactly spark positive emotions for many. Well… it definitely wasn't easy!
Another great group... we had a lot of fun together and some even got good scores. Not for me today... I shot the first 10 targets really well – then OUT... really, OVER. ANYTHING... that happens too. It wasn't the first time, and it won't be the last.
The local club provided us with excellent food for two days. Burgers and Asian food… both very tasty. Pastries, coffee, and other drinks… truly fantastic – thank you for that.
In addition to drinks, the “Laben” also offered cheese or sausage rolls – always freshly delivered on what was probably the fastest quad in Carinthia ;).
For us, at least this year, it was the last WA tournament. Too much blah blah – too little fun.
