The 3rd YOA CUP of this year took place on July 10th. The host club was BSV-Peilstein in the beautiful Mühlviertel region. A total of 40 participants competed. All age groups, from U10 to U21, were represented. The archery categories included TRB, BB, and CO. BSV-Peilstein made every effort to set the shooting distances appropriate for all ages, but the course was still challenging.
Franz, Petra Ammer, and Julian Mayrhofer were in charge of registration and scoring. The shooting began at 9:45 a.m., with a total of 28 targets to be shot. Perhaps the most challenging aspect was the increasingly strong wind, which blew some arrows off course.
At the end of the tournament, however, there were still happy and satisfied faces to be seen. At around 2:15 p.m., the awards ceremony began, and no child went away empty-handed. All children received a small token of appreciation for their performance.
The BSV-Peilstein coaching team would like to thank all the volunteers who contributed to the tournament's success. The same goes for all the participants for their disciplined and professional conduct.
