The courses were truly beautiful and not too "dreadful." Participants from all over the world were consistently satisfied with the terrain, the distances, and the targets. For many members of the Austrian team, it was an average to good day.
Of course, a tournament situation is always different than a round alone or with friends at your local course. Nevertheless, we heard a lot of positive things.
Our shared apartment did "okay" to good throughout. The results, as in general, were good to pleasing. It was a hot day. The marked courses aren't always in the shade. Most of the shooting takes place on a golf course surrounding Mokrice Castle – it's beautiful here, and the castle's backdrop accompanies the shooters throughout the tournament day.
Sure... another "Austrian get-together" was scheduled for this evening. NO!!! No pizza today - tonight we're having dinner (and stuff...) at a down-to-earth Slovenian restaurant - we might just report on that! :)))
