Farewell at the Hofburg

Our archery team was ceremoniously bid farewell by Federal President Van der Bellen in the Hofburg on 23 June 2022.

Sport Austria, with the support of the Ministry of Sport, has made excellent preparations for the World Games; the highlights were the clothing fitting and the farewell ceremony.

First report from the EBHC - Confolens/F

EBHC opening in Confolens

Two years of waiting have paid off. The long-awaited EBHC in Confolens was officially opened today.
In a field of approximately 1,100 archers from 20 nations, almost 70 archers from Austria are competing, including several IFAA defending champions. Supported by the Austrian Archery Federation (ÖBSV), in addition to the individual competitions, 10 style teams and one Austrian Archery team will compete in the "Champions of Nations" competition, competing against the best 3D archers in Europe. A heartfelt thank you to the ÖBSV, especially to our professional office team for their support.

Evaluating with tablets at the home tournament

After some successful tests, we are releasing our mobile phones (tablets) for rental.

The tablets are configured so that they can be used as an evaluation option in all tournaments (according to WA Book 4 22.6.2).
