A container for storing the arrows.
Back quiver
This quiver, considered the "classic" quiver, is worn on the back, allowing the archer to draw the arrow from the bowstring over the back. One disadvantage is that arrows can fall out of the quiver when the archer bends forward.
Side quiver
Side quivers are worn on the belt on the side of the draw hand and allow for quick and convenient drawing of arrows. A disadvantage is that they are somewhat unstable, so in the worst case scenario, the side quiver can swing around your legs when running fast.
Bow quiver
Bow quivers are devices that are attached to the bow itself and usually accommodate six to eight arrows. This keeps the arrows securely attached to the bow, prevents them from getting in the way, and increases the weight of the bow and thus its stability when fired. This type of quiver is ideal for bow hunting; they would be a premature anachronism on medieval bows.
