The Wels Archery Fair will open its doors for the 12th time in 2026 and will once again transform the Wels Exhibition Centre into the center of the Austrian archery scene. This unique event is the meeting place for professional and amateur archers, clubs and beginners from all over Austria and beyond. The archery trade fair impresses with a unique mix of exhibitors, exciting programs, and inspiring demonstrations that provide a comprehensive insight into the world of archery.
Attractive highlights and new products in the program
In 2026, the archery fair will offer exciting new highlights and a diverse program. A special highlight is the return of the popular ArcheryTime archery cinema. Here, visitors can test their shooting skills in a unique environment and experience the fascination of archery first hand.
Also new to the program is the 3D Trade Fair Challenge, a 3D tournament with a difference: On both days of the trade fair, archers have the opportunity to compete in a qualifying round – multiple times. The four best shooters from the qualification then compete against each other for the day’s victory. An exciting experience for participants and spectators alike!
Lectures, workshops and the elite of archery
As every year, the 2026 archery fair will once again offer numerous lectures and workshops on archery topics. Visitors can look forward to renowned experts who will share their knowledge in exciting lectures and practical workshops. A special highlight of the program is Johannes Fischnaller, who delves into the world of mounted archery and presents this impressive combination of ancient martial arts and modern competitive sport.
Another highlight is the Austrian National Championships and WA Indoor Championships, which are organized by the Austrian Archery Federation as part of the trade fair. This means that Austria’s entire archery elite will be guests in Wels, and all relevant archery classes will be represented. Visitors can experience the excitement of the competitions up close and watch the country's best archers battle for the titles.
An event for professionals, clubs and newcomers
The extensive exhibition area offers everything that makes an archer's heart beat faster – from traditional bows and bow-making to accessories and equipment, handicrafts and clothing. There are numerous opportunities for those interested and beginners to get a taste of archery. The popular 3D course invites you to participate, and visitors can try out the sport under expert guidance at the impressive indoor shooting range.
