Description Archery course

The Instinctive Archery Westerwald e.V. archery club was founded in 2018 and currently has 17 members. The IAW currently maintains a 3D archery course between Kirburg and Langenbach in a roughly 4-hectare wooded area with a small stream. Shooting takes place year-round at 16 stations, targeting at least two targets in all bow classes.

Course description: To ensure archers don't get bored, the club members regularly change the stations. This creates new, exciting animal combinations along the approximately 2.5 km long trail. Challenging stations alternate with family-friendly stations.

In the near future, the Friedewald course will offer target shooting (a practice range) and, at an estimated 28 stations, 3D animals with bow and arrow. There are also plans to offer children's and youth training, using rental or your own equipment. This course will also be open to all archery enthusiasts year-round for a fee.
