Description 3D archery course
Our course is located above Streitberg, just outside Oberfellendorf, in the heart of Franconian Switzerland, framed by the picturesque landscape of the Franconian Jura, known for its natural monuments, castles, ruins, and caves. The refreshment stops offering hearty snacks and home-brewed beers and spirits deserve mention. Furthermore, there are two other sports venues within a 10-km radius, and a total of six within a 50-km radius. Nestled in the landscape, the course is hilly and easy to navigate. The natural features of the terrain, which alternate between deciduous, coniferous, and mixed forest, allowed for the 28 stations with 81 targets to be set up with a balanced mix of uphill and downhill sections, as well as long-range and close-range shots. With an average distance of 24.54 meters, we are within the DFSV e.V. recommendation for 3D courses, even though the course was set based on feeling and experience.
