Description 3D archery course
Through the forest with bow and arrow
In our 3D archery course, beginners, families, and professionals can go hunting with bow and arrow.
52 3D targets are set up on two different routes. If you don't have your own equipment, you can borrow it during lift operating hours.
The "Bogenschenke" (Archery Inn) is located between the two courses. A vending machine invites you to relax and refresh yourself.
On the leisurely "Eibenkogl Route," you'll find stations 1 to 26. It leads you through the wild, romantic beech forest and, thanks to its consistent elevation profile, is ideal for families and beginners.
The "Fuchswald Route" will make the hearts of professional archers beat faster. Here, stations 27
to 52 are waiting to be "shot." Open, challenging terrain with varying elevation profiles ensure just the right amount of excitement! True to the motto: You can't buy courage—but you can buy arrows!

Route plannerDirections
By car:
from Vienna: Your route takes you via the A1 to the Ybbs exit. Then take the federal highway 25 towards Lunz am See. Once you have made it past the Grubberg, turn left onto the federal highway 71 to Langau and from there left again towards Lackenhof.
from Salzburg: The route starts on the A1 for about 180 kilometers to the Amstetten Ost exit. Once you have left the motorway behind you, you continue along the federal highway 1 to Blindenmarkt. There, at the roundabout, take the third exit onto Landesstraße 97 to Steinakirchen. Continue on the state road 96 to Zarnsdorf, where you turn right onto the state road 89 to Purgstall an der Erlauf. Now take the federal highway 25 towards Lunz am See and up to the Grubberg. At the top, turn left towards Langau and Lackenhof to the federal highway 71. Now all that separates you is a quick turn to the left from the idyllic mountain village in the middle of the Ybbstal Alps.
By train and bus to Lackenhof am Ötscher:
from Vienna and Salzburg: With the Westbahn or with the ÖBB Railjet to St. Pölten. In the Lower Austrian capital you have to change to a REX train to Pöchlarn an der Ybbs. Afterwards you change to a regional train (R) to Scheibbs. From there, bus lines MO1, MO2 and MO21 run to Lackenhof.
